FOOTBALL MOVES PEOPLE

The International Summer Festival and the Kampnagel season will be focussing on football, art and Europe over the course of a year. Six projects will be shown that deal with the topic of migration in the context of the football world and are outstanding examples of the impetus that football can provide for an open society. Combined with stage productions is a workshop and community programme that will combine art and football over several months in Hamburg and reach a broad public. The first event was the International Summer Festival in August 2023 with two performance acts, a theatre production and a spectacular football dance workshop, which will culminate in a major stage production in May 2024.
