Immerse yourself in European football culture. In May 2024, the "FeVR Pitches" exhibition will take visitors to the most exciting football pitches in Europe in Gelsenkirchen-Schalke. In the Church of St Joseph, they discover five pitches in virtual reality (VR) that are unique due to their scenic surroundings or their social significance. Local guides lead through the virtual images and show the audience what remains hidden to the naked eye. The guides also provide a personal insight into the (football) culture of their country. The immersive exhibition is a project of the Schalker Markt Foundation. Its aim is to bring the history of the Schalke district and FC Schalke 04 to life at their historical locations.
