QFF FILM PROJECT

Under the motto "Separate in colour, united in cause", the member fan clubs of the Queer Football Fan Clubs for UEFA EURO 2024 are presenting themselves in ten short films, each around four minutes long, which will be distributed via social media, showing people and their work in the ten (German) cities where UEFA EURO 2024 will take place.

They illustrate their commitment, their successes, their resistance and also the resentment they have to contend with. Authentic, individual, diverse. From transition to unisex toilets. These films are flanked by selfie clips of friendly associations from Germany and Europe. These short films will be made into a 60-minute film, which will be shown at public viewings of European Championship matches and will also be available to stream. It is important to show the diversity within the fan clubs and the acceptance that has been achieved in most locations through the fan club work, in order to encourage other queer fans in Europe to go their own way.
