LOOK, EUROPE!

The initial idea behind this project is to bring a breath of fresh air to young people's ideas about democracy and Europe. What are our democracy and Europe all about? Young people plan and organise a political, sports and art project together. The participants work in small groups on the (basic) values of our European liberal democratic society and develop common aspects/values that connect us Europeans in terms of past and present.

Then, as part of an art workshop, everyone paints the boards of two mobile football courts colourfully on the theme of Europe, for solidarity, freedom, peace, democracy and acceptance. At the end, a football tournament is planned on the newly designed football courts.
