FOOTBALL IS FOR EVERYONE

Hardly any other city has such an intimate relationship with football as Dortmund. Football unites, creates recognition and community. The "Football is for everyone" project conveys the message of football as a unifying element through interventions in the urban space - a symbol of tolerance, diversity and the power of sport, realised in the form of painted house facades in Dortmund's Nordstadt district. In particular, this is about combining social work, art and football. The plan is to design three different building façades. These are to be developed and painted by Dortmund artists in cooperation with children and young people from the Dortmund Nordstadtliga. The facades are to convey a common message through similar-looking designs: "Football is for everyone!"
