EM CULTURAL BEER GARDEN

Even if the word "beer garden" doesn't give it away at first glance, the Kulturbiergarten is first and foremost a cabaret theatre in the heart of Gelsenkirchen's Buer district. In summer 2024, the Kulturbiergarten in St.-Urbanus-Park will be all about UEFA EURO 2024, with a colourful mix of live music, talk, quizzes, comedy and football for all football and culture fans. We will bring the culture of the countries that are our guests in Gelsenkirchen to the Kulturbiergarten. Regardless of nationality, religion, gender or age, football and culture unite Europe, the Ruhr region and Gelsenkirchen anyway.

Gelsenkirchen is a multicultural city with inhabitants from all over Europe. Even before the start of the European Football Championships, we will determine the European Cultural Beer Garden Champion. The 24 European Championship nations, represented by citizens of Gelsenkirchen, will compete for the title of European Cultural Beer Garden Champion in a mix of pub quiz and game without borders.
