BERLINALE MEETS FOOTBALL

Film and football are a good match. Eleven short films created by students at the University of Television and Film in Munich are intended to explicitly highlight the topics of diversity, inclusion and sustainability in connection with football. The project will be realised throughout Germany with young people from diverse and inclusive clubs. The short films are to be shown at the Berlinale 2024: The young filmmakers* and the young people from the clubs will be invited to the Berlinale. Two workshops are planned on the topics of football, community, diversity and inclusion as well as film. The compilation film will then be shown at each of the participating clubs in collaboration with the local cinemas.
