24 GATES

Tooooor! 24 goals played together - this is a neighbourhood production consisting of three parts under the motto "Touched by football" in Hamburg-Altona. The first part consists of 24 short performances that will be staged at various gates in Hamburg-Altona. These performances can be experienced by a wide audience on two weekends in May 2024 in the form of guided tours of the district. The second part is a large-scale hip-hop production as part of the STAMP festival in the park at Platz der Republik, supported by projections that reflect football in moving visual worlds.

A night parade with 40 local, national and international groups forms the brilliant finale. Bright costumes, extravagant stilt walkers and rousing marching bands parade along the Hamburg harbour to the museum harbour. The parade is preceded by 24 illuminated balls, each of which represents a football team taking part in the European Championships in its colours.
