THE MYTH OF NORMAL.

The project brings together aspects of sport and broader socio-political issues via three strands of contemporary art: A group exhibition at the Kunstverein - based on the theses of the Hungarian-Canadian doctor Gabor Maté - is showing artistic contributions on topics relating to the body - "The Myth of Normal. Vom Gönnen und Können", a group exhibition at the Kunstverein is showing artistic contributions on themes of the body, perception, ableism, social cohesion and inclusion. A performance programme entitled "When the Body says Yes" will be presented, some of which will be streamed on the Kunstverein's website and will be available after the end of the project. A publication is in preparation.
